January is definitely a time when many of us want to make changes, including changes for our health and wellness.  This post gives some fun ideas to help you slim down for your wedding day!  Enjoy!

Your wedding day is your day to shine. You have been dreaming about this day for years and years. You dream about looking absolutely flawless and feeling like a princess. Now ladies, every one of you is beautiful just the way you are. Remember your soon-to-be husband asked you to marry him the way you look now! However, if it would make you feel a little bit more confident toning up a bit, then why not enjoy it!? Rather than bingeing on lettuce and celery, try out some of these fun ways to get into shape!

-Join a Pick-up Soccer League

*Many towns have city leagues that are always looking for female players. Try looking on Craigslist for teams with open spots. Also, lots of universities have intramural teams that are looking for players.

-Try a Girls-Only Boot-camp Program

*There are a lot of fitness programs that offer cheaper weekend boot-camp programs for women to get in shape, no matter your fitness level! These are also great places to get good workout tips from professionals!

-Go Mountain Biking

*This is even something you can do with your fiancé. Dust off your old bike and hit some of the wonderful trails in your area. Not only is this great for your physical health, but being outdoors is invigorating for the soul!

-Take Ballroom Dance Lessons

*Dancing is a fabulous way to burn those calories, and have fun doing it! You can also use the techniques you learn in your class to show off for your wedding guests during your first dance! Also, discount websites such as Groupon and things like that often offer discount packages, so keep your eye out!

-Walk the Mall

*Mall-walking is a real thing! You get to enjoy the comfortable temperature-controlled climate of the indoors, as well as the visual distractions that pull your attention to window shopping. Why not keep your eye on a few cute things as a reward for all of your hard work!

-Get a workout buddy

*Things are always more fun when you have a buddy. Find a good friend to get-in on your workout plan with you. Whether that means you go walking together, meet at the gym every morning, or a variety of things, make sure you choose someone who will motivate you and not slow you down.
